Men in our modern culture are uninitiated, untrained, and underdeveloped. Maybe you feel like that. We know we have.
We are wondering what to do with our strength, our wounds, our longings and our gifts. Some men bottle their frustration and sadness, others overcompensate through achievement and accomplishment. Others take the time to process Gods vision for their life, and to deal with their longings and pain.
That's why we have created the Making of a Man Conference. A place to do just this. Our vision is to form mens hearts to reject the passivity of our moment, without becoming a caricature of our culture.

What is the Making of a Man Conference?
We have designed an immersive, formative experience to help you make sense of your story, redeem your pain, identify your gifts, clarify your vision, and live out your calling.
And you will not do this alone. You will be surrounded by a like-minded community of brothers who will take you seriously, listen deeply and encourage fiercely.
We believe God entrusted each of us with a sphere of influence and a calling to use our strength on behalf of others. We believe this happens best when men are formed into the image of Jesus and bring his passion, kindness, anger, joy and hope to the world.
Some may roll their eyes at an event like this. Others may dismiss it as unnecessary. Yet we believe the world needs men like Jesus, and spaces like this to encounter him in breakthrough ways.
Conference after party
We don't believe in green rooms. We want to hangout and meet you.
It's pretty simple--we are doing this so we can MEET you and HANG with you. Relationships are the true joy of life.
We have been in too many environments where the speakers are silo'd in a green room, only coming out for the few minutes before they talk.
That's not us and that's not this conference.
We want to hangout before, during and after. Which also means we have a few fun surprises since hanging out and meeting you is our goal.
So one big way we want to do that is we rented out a 3,000 square foot second floor of a popular Tampa brewery a few minutes away from the church. We will have the entire restaurant to ourselves.
And we will go right from the conference to Barriehaus Brewery to hang. Dinner and all the food (beer is on your own tab) is on us, just buy a ticket below and we will see you there (limit to first 150 signups). NOTE: You must register and buy an afterparty ticket SEPARATE from the conference ticket.
PS there's a good chance Fuego Mobile Cigar Truck will also be there as a bonus add-on. But shh, we are still working on it :)
